Unten auf unseren Rechnungen befindet sich ein EPC-QR-Code. Mit diesem ist eine Überweisung bei der Bank besonders einfach. Sie können den QR-Code einfach mit der Banking App ihres Smartphones scannen. Alternativ können inzwischen viele Bank-Terminals den QR-Code lesen.
Auch zuhaus am PC kann die ein oder andere Banking Software nach dem Scannen den QR-Code einlesen.

Die offizielle Bezeichnung für den Code zur Überweisungsausfüllung ist EPC-QR-CODE in Deutschland wird er auch teilweise als GiroCode bezeichnet. Es handelt sich um einen einfachen offenen Standard.
